To launch Wild One’s inaugural jaunt into supplements, I developed a National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) compliant strategy in partnership with board-certified veterinarians and veterinarian nutritionists.
Compliance & Regulation
To ensure our go-to-market strategy was FDA and NASC-compliant, I developed a multi-phased briefing system to prepare and review claims, benefits and external messaging with industry stakeholders. Once completed, I led research initiatives with product development and ingredient suppliers to produce educational materials on our 4 formulations.
Launch Strategy
The launch of Wild One Supplements consisted of three key components: compliance, validation and education.
Compliance Two months prior to launch, I began research into messaging regulations for feed and supplements within marketing and advertising.
Validation Once our claims and benefits were FDA and NASC compliant, I created product briefs to share with potential vet partners for ambassadorships.
Education To prepare for the category launch, I worked with web and product development to create an interactive landing page that walks through the use case and benefits of the collection.
Partnerships
An intimate group of partners, including veterinarians, influencers and vet clinics, was used to increase our reach for the launch of Supplements.
Brand We partnered with animal clinic Bond Vet and their Medical Director Dr. Stephanie Austin to host an Instagram Live on animal wellness and supplement, as well as host a giveaway to celebrate the launch.
Influencer We partnered with veterinarians Dr. Stevie Aiken and Dr. Laura Robinson, to review the line and share it with their communities ahead of the launch. Additionally, we gifted product to a cohort of lifestyle influencers and content creators, including Miki Ash and Opal.
